Isn't this also true today?  Regardless of our skin pigmentation, Americans seem to have forgotten where our grandparents came from and where instead they have brought us today.  E.W. Everson crossed the Atlantic ocean at the age of 9 in order to obtain that American dream and gift it to his children's children.  Yet, before he could attain the American dream he had to pioneer, homestead, serve and then defend it from those that would rather enslave their neighbor and themselves with socialistic stinking thinking and government. 

Harriet Tubman freed a thousand or more slaves with her American heroism and her underground railroad.  Yet, when she received acclaim for her accomplishment she pleaded that she could have freed so many more, if only they knew they were slaves!

E.W. Everson laments in his only hand written life story written by the cajoling of his adoptive daughter Helen to "write it down!".  He ends with this famous lament: 

“I could write a book on this one subject alone! That would be very interesting to see how these imported Scalists (socialists) could come and organize the Farmers and I.W.W.’s to gather an organization that would destroy the Farmers first, and then all other taxpayers, and to this day there is lots of Farmers just as blind as ever.”   ~E. W. Everson

If only we could awaken our fellow Americans to their true promise that our great grandparents toiled and breathed into reality with the founding and defending of this great nation. 

Many of our fellow Americans have allen prey to the slavery of not handling their finances as a free American must to assure Charity and Wealth follows them for the rest of their lives.  Dave Ramsey, a brilliant financial guru emplores American's to change their family tree and find financial peace by listening to what their grandma would of told them.  If you are in bondage to financial slavery, please listen to Mr. Dave Ramsey's message.  Click on his name and begin your path to Financial Freedom.  My wife and I only have my stupid tax of a student loan and the house yet to pay off.  We don't have much income because I am a small business owner, and my wife is a lecturer at the local university.  We live off of her salary and still grow my business and pay off our debt.  We live a modest life but it is a freedom I know my grand parents want for me and for you!

There are many other ways we can become less free and enslaved today in America.  If we do not get active in our very own backyard and keep the Socialist Squirrel stinking thinking at bay, we loose more freedom with every insane law or program they put on the books.  We must unite our neighbors against such careless loss of freedom, because we were not being citizens of the greatest nation in the world.

We must be active, we must be charitable so that those that are in need can instead lean on their neighbor rather than become a number and resident on the plantations of dependence that those that wish to enslave us dangle like a carrot of a stick in front of those that need Charity, not enslavement.

We must be healthy and turn away from the vice that enslaves us.  Pornography, Lust, and the drug of your undoing whether it is cold medication, alcohol, weed or the unthinkable drugs that have so many of our country men enslaved within their own skin. 

Christ came to this world to set us free. 

We are now free, and yet constantly turn back to the slavery of the flesh, mind and soul.  Yet, this is a deception.  We are Free.  Make the decision this moment to live every second of every day that the Lord has given us, Free men and women in Christ, proud Americans and so blessed and charitable that mountains move.
