What do you do during the off season?

I find myself writing, researching and dreaming of this next hunt season. This off season seems to be flying by as I was able to hunt up to Dec. 1st and now with the mild Winter it looks like I may be back in the field possibly as early as this next week.

Now I don’t even have my 2011 finds cleaned and museum ready yet. I sure have not had the chance to do the research I need to do and that long list of writing projects has yet to be attacked. Yet, I can’t wait to get back out in the field.

So I am a bit torn as things seem to be literally piling up on my docket. Yet, when the weather breaks, I have to get Grizzly with it. The conditions are not ideal, but I would love to get a few sites from 2011 wrapped up.

Thus, this is where I am at. The “Off Season” is appearing to be much shorter than I had anticipated and may have to get pushed to rainy days and the heat of Summer when no one wants to be out of doors.

I have not been able to write as much as I wished here at Grizzly Groundswell blog, but Temerity Magazine is a great success! I am slowly getting back to writing, researching and cleaning finds from the 2011 hunt season. It takes a while to transition, but this week I should be able to share more of the finds and update the hunt pages. Hang in there and soon Spring will come.
