Found this today while sepperating out the glass and pottery shards. I had not realized that I had found this possible bone vertebrae button. It has the wear of a button or bead but I have never found or seen something like this before. If you have more information on this artifact, I would appreciate it. In this area of this hunt site there were Sioux, Ojibwe, French Fur Traders, and the copper culture.

Thank God for a long Research Season!
Well, up until this point, I really have wasted this research season trying to lift up others and failing miserably. So much that I am all but calling it quits on the lift up thy neighbor strategy. I hope to return to this strategy after I met some of my own personal goals, but for now I am going to be spending more time on my own efforts.
Sure the failure was to no fault of our own, but it was still a failure to meet our goals. And it pretty much wiped out the entirety of my research season, although this weekend we are expecting a storm and it would not hurt my feelings if this snow lingered here another month or two. I still have the 2013 season to gear up too and yet to clean and document finds from 2011 let alone 2012. It is time for a good old Spring cleaning and handling the long honey do list that I have been putting off.
Good news is that there are still a few active members in the Temerity Magazine team and they have some outstanding ideas and concepts for their own TV concepts. So I will help those that are moving forward as their success is just as much interdependent on my own as you could imagine. The more of us moving in this direction the better, but I am finished with moving the ball down the field all on my own. I am only going to help those that help themselves now and let the rest go their own way.
Temerity Magazine the Movie and TV show concept is still up in the air and I am not all that keen on focusing on them this year. I have hotter concepts that I think are needed in media today and may keep the Temerity Magazine concepts in the deep freeze for now. With such a miserable failure, I need more of a sure thing that I only have to rely on myself to accomplish. After all it is much easier to twist my own arm than those all over the globe.
Probing History is a concept that Chad Hurst and Myself will be hitting hard this year. We were tipped off that a privy digging show is being considered by a few major networks when LionTV.us tried to cast us in the production this last month. Well, you don’t have to hit me over the head three times to notice a niche need. So this fall we hope to have 6 episodes to air and then we can shop it around and hopefully find a network home. You can follow our antics at www.probinghistory.com and https://www.facebook.com/probinghistory and if you Twitter: @probinghistory
I am also working on some other concepts that I will either launch in 2013 or 2014 depending on how the hunt season goes. After all, everything revolves around the hunt!

Playing with the new bells and whistles on the new version of wordpress is always fun. What do you seek? Is it always the treasure? The stolen valuables or is it even more? It is more, it is to shed light into the darkness and tell is sorted story so the past is not repeated but for good.

There is something about blogging I find myself missing.
I am not quite sure why, but today it occurred to me that I need to take my blogging seriously again. If for nothing else, it is just a great exercise to organize thoughts and produce and publish a ton of content. But honestly, I just miss it.
The transition from awarded Conservative political blogger to relic and treasure hunter took a toll on me. It came about in frustration from preaching to the choir and not ever being able to truly make a difference and win the hearts and minds of those that most need it. So I found something that could assist me in accomplishing that goal and calling as well as something I am truly gifted at and enjoy. Relic and treasure hunting fulfills many joys in my life and yet still has all the traps and pit falls of being politically active. You just can’t escape politics, it is pervasive and my successes and failures uniting the Conservative bloggers has well equipped me to unite the relic and treasure hunters that now comprise my Temerity Magazine.
It is pretty hilarious actually when you think about it. Still trying to slay the same demons and still having to deal with infiltrators and opponents that try to derail the momentum I have worked so hard to establish with my efforts. It also has all the joys of new friendships, endless research and learning something new every day. Actually, all roads lead to here. Looking back, I now know why my path was so scenic and today, tomorrow looks even better from this vantage point.
So, i am going to write, blog and produce great products for you to enjoy. I will rely upon my Temerity to get Grizzly out producing the next guy while also lifting up their effort even higher than my own. It is a conscience decision to live a life worth living and follow the path laid down before me without trying to veer off the path and get beaten about the head and body with the rod and staff. I am getting too old for such frivolity.
It is somewhat humorous actually. i was going to shut down this Grizzly Groundswell blog and just devote my time and effort to the success I have built with the Temerity Magazine brand. But recently after completing the segments for the Oopa Loopa Cafe that are now airing on Cable TV, I realized that I can never get rid of the Grizzly flowing through my veins. This blog and experience has been very good to me. A friend through some very dark days and had its share of victories along as some great friends and colleagues have graced this effort.
Enough time has passed to heal from the wounds of having to shut down an effort I gave my all too, and now I can once again come back to this old friend and try to realize the vision I had for it. Join me here and on TemerityMag.com as I continue this journey and document my life, loves, and passion for life.
