Grizzly Relic & Treasure Season 2 Episode 6-The General Store Well Dig-Santiago, MN

Uploaded by GrizzlyGroundswell on May 15, 2011

Chuck the owner gave me permission to help him out dig one of the wells that was backfilled on the General Store. I was hoping to find a treasure trove but walked away with only a marble, rusty nails, plastic comb, measuring scoop, bottle caps and broken glass and pottery. Yet, I always have fun and enjoyed the great experience. There is one other well, and I am itching to dig that for Chuck as well. It was a rainy wet day and since it was too wet to dig targets at Jim Huffmans farm, this project was a perfect fit for the day! The Trumpeter Swan, once a bird that was very rare to see in my Grizzly Backyard has become not only abundant, but also easy to catch upon video. It is so exciting to see all the great Trumpeter Swans this Spring. The Swan is all White but some of our Swans have stained their knoble heads and necks with the ferrous minerals found on the wetland foliage they feed upon. With a wing span of 6-8 feet these birds are very impressive in the air or on the ground. Enjoy, Read and Share Temerity Magazine! http://temeritymagazine.com
