Grizzly Relic & Treasure-Methodical Grid-ology

I really could not be considered a cherry picker metal detectorist by no means. The thought of only cherry picking the good stuff and leaving what Paul Harvey always said “The rest of the Story” is just not in my nature. So each site I grid off and cover even if I know little will be found there. Because I think it is important to gift the landowner with as well as myself, with a clear picture of their property. I spent most of the day today hunting an old tree shelter belt and small field that is now a lush manicured lawn. The finds were minimal as this 30-06 shell was the only real find up to this point in the day. But it was a gun that this property owner does not have and it is just one of the pieces of this sites history. So indeed it is a “good find”. This video was uploaded from an Android phone.
