There is something about blogging I find myself missing.
I am not quite sure why, but today it occurred to me that I need to take my blogging seriously again. If for nothing else, it is just a great exercise to organize thoughts and produce and publish a ton of content. But honestly, I just miss it.
The transition from awarded Conservative political blogger to relic and treasure hunter took a toll on me. It came about in frustration from preaching to the choir and not ever being able to truly make a difference and win the hearts and minds of those that most need it. So I found something that could assist me in accomplishing that goal and calling as well as something I am truly gifted at and enjoy. Relic and treasure hunting fulfills many joys in my life and yet still has all the traps and pit falls of being politically active. You just can’t escape politics, it is pervasive and my successes and failures uniting the Conservative bloggers has well equipped me to unite the relic and treasure hunters that now comprise my Temerity Magazine.
It is pretty hilarious actually when you think about it. Still trying to slay the same demons and still having to deal with infiltrators and opponents that try to derail the momentum I have worked so hard to establish with my efforts. It also has all the joys of new friendships, endless research and learning something new every day. Actually, all roads lead to here. Looking back, I now know why my path was so scenic and today, tomorrow looks even better from this vantage point.
So, i am going to write, blog and produce great products for you to enjoy. I will rely upon my Temerity to get Grizzly out producing the next guy while also lifting up their effort even higher than my own. It is a conscience decision to live a life worth living and follow the path laid down before me without trying to veer off the path and get beaten about the head and body with the rod and staff. I am getting too old for such frivolity.
It is somewhat humorous actually. i was going to shut down this Grizzly Groundswell blog and just devote my time and effort to the success I have built with the Temerity Magazine brand. But recently after completing the segments for the Oopa Loopa Cafe that are now airing on Cable TV, I realized that I can never get rid of the Grizzly flowing through my veins. This blog and experience has been very good to me. A friend through some very dark days and had its share of victories along as some great friends and colleagues have graced this effort.
Enough time has passed to heal from the wounds of having to shut down an effort I gave my all too, and now I can once again come back to this old friend and try to realize the vision I had for it. Join me here and on TemerityMag.com as I continue this journey and document my life, loves, and passion for life.
