David Maxwell Joins Temerity Magazine on the Oopa Loopa Cafe that Debut’s Dec. 3rd. I recruited David when he stepped forth into Temerity. I was doing an article on Andrew Fudge’s Metal Detecting group here on Facebook. I had chosen a few of David’s great photos. David contacted me to tell me a little bit more about his finds. Right there the recruit alarm was going off, but I did not need just anyone for this project, I needed to know they had the Temerity to see it through. I knew David was a great photographer, and he was hungry to share his passion for relic and treasure, but could he shoot a video?
Well, I tested David by asking him to expand on his message to me about his finds and submit it as an article for the November issue of Temerity Magazine. Talk about Temerity, David got me a really outstanding article and more stunning photo’s that day. OK, so now can he make a video? Indeed he could and I was excited to see he was not only on Youtube with some really quality videos but also doing a great job with his blog. The only question that was left is will he see this for the opportunity it very well is? Of course he did. I am excited by all David brings to the table and I can’t wait to share his videos in Temerity Magazine on the Oopa Loopa Cafe and more of his great articles in Temerity Magazine! www.youtube.com/user/maxwell8tre
Bio:
Hi, my name’s David Maxwell (people call me Max, there are too many Davids where I’m from!), and I’m 29. I am metal detectorist from the city of Glasgow, Scotland (UK) who primarily seeks out sites with any background where there is always the chance of a find of a lifetime coming up from the dirt! I have Roman sites, 1800′s manor house land and a large estate home site to hunt with a few exciting new places in the pipeline! I host videos on my YouTube channel, Diggin’ Scotland’s Past with maxwell8tre. My love of macro imaging led me to create my blog www.m8tdsp.blogspot.co.uk ).
I have been interested in historical happenings since my school days, but it only recently dawned on me that I could take part in uncovering relics from the past for my very own collection. This effectively brought history to life for me and I have been hunting with the Minelab XTerra 705 as much as daylight and dry weather allow since March, 2012. Having had an interest in all things computer since a young age, performing in front of various crowds over the course of my life and being quite a natural public speaker – the transition to making videos was a fairly simple one for me and I have been making my ‘Detecting Diary’ since virtually my first ever hunt and find.
