About

The Grizzly Groundswell founded July 27, 2007 has never been more Grizzly!
Relic and Treasure recovered in Grizzly Backyards tell the stories of the Pioneer Spirit Striving to attain the American Dream.  I am here to tell that story and lift those up that do the same all across this Grizzly Raku Marble we call the Earth.

Christian, Husband, Raku Clay Artist, Entrepreneur, Small Business Owner, Conservative

I have a great deal of interests, talents, skills and passions.  My life reads as an exciting novel and I am always excited to turn the next page and start the next chapter.  First and formost I have the faith to move mountains.  I try my best to follow the path Christ has laid before me.  It is not the path they try to sell you in the brochure, it is so much better!

Second I am trying to be the husband my lovely wife Michelle deserves.  It is never easy to grow into the man your wife deserves and demands of you, but in grace and laughter, we find our way.

Third, I am an artist.  I see things that the rest of the world seems to pass right on by.  I do my best to capture what I find and present it to those that missed it somewhere along the way.  I never have enough studio time as the rest of the passions, interests and demands pull me in other directions.  Yet, when I step into the studio time stands still and miraculous beauty is made and captured before my eyes.

Fourth, I am an Entrepreneur, instilled with that Pioneer Spirit passed down through the blood always pushing me to take notice of opportunities where others see none.  I have not found my first million dollars yet the million dollar ideas abound and new ones are just emerging every day.  The trick is to grab those that can be followed to the end of the rainbow.  That is a skill yet to master!

Fifth, I am a small business owner struggling to find the return on the investment of all my talent, skill and labor I have been throwing into this effort.  In 2004 I walked away from a retail management career and swore off wage slavery for good.  I have had success and have had more failure than I care to recount.  yet, with every failure came an education that was priceless in what I am doing today.  It is a hard time to be in business yet this is when fortunes are made.

Last but not least I am a Conservative.  I have ignited the imaginations of my fellow Americans and been awarded and flown all across this nation to gain access to my insight.  I am in good company yet, always say in modesty that I am the child at the grown up’s table.  Conservatism is the ability and philosophy of learning from the past, applying that wisdom to the present and leading into a better tomorrow.  My Conservatism is informed by my faith, life experience and common sense.
